What are your thoughts and views on Darlie Routier? An extremely controversial case by all accounts. I believe that she is awaiting the results of a Motion for Reconsideration which was filed on the 30th April 06. This was filed after the Federal Habeas proceedings pending DNA was denied. I did write to her once but I never received a reply. I guess with such a high profile case she was either too busy or to dam fed up with well wishers??  What do you all think?  |

I think Darlie is innocent. I dont believe for one second she did all that damage to herself.

I agree her brusing alone was beyond comprehension. I don't believe for a minute that she killed her kids, but something is a miss and I have a gut feeling that she knows something that she will carry with her until her natural or executed life. DARIN? There was to many inconsistences with both their stories, a failed lie detector test from darin (which then led to the best possible representation doubting him and refusing any further assistance), no real motive and no concrete evidence that there was even an intruder at all (except for a pubic hair and a smudged fingerprint). It all dose'nt add up and if she is possiblily hiding something to protect Darin, or anyone else for that matter, why in the name of god does she not save herself from the gurney which is becoming more and more likely as her appeals are reaching the end? She was offered a plea bargain for lwop but she has made a statement saying that she could never do this as it would prove her to be guilty! Come on Darlie save yourself, the public don't care whatever little part you may have played or who you are protecting, but they do care that an innocent mother is going to her death for NOT murdering her two sons.
This case amongst many breaks my heart and at the same time captures Curiosity in an extremely captivating way!

Just a word of warning: please avoid www.justicefordarlie.com . While it purports to be a supportive site, it is run by a person who is, to put it mildly, insane. The site has been used to prematurely release and otherwise damage evidence in the case. The person behind it has a history of harassment of supporters including death threats. The site also plants viruses on the computers of some visitors. So...do yourself a favor: just stay away. |
