Although there are 450 Death Row inmates in Texas most of them are ineligible for execution at any given moment because of their appeals. The watch list is for cases that are most noteworthy of being executed, having execution dates set and/or appeals near exhaustion.

It is with a very heavy heart that I report that the following ladies are on the above list:
Erica Yvonne Sheppard who has been on d/r since 18/6/97.
Cathy Lynn Henderson who has been on d/r since 1/6/95.
Brittany Marlowe Holberg who has been on D/R since 27/3/98.
